Ripley was never really sure what to make of the stubby-legged Corgi puppy. In the end, she tolerated him. And after he left, she seemed worried that we had gotten rid of another pet. There's just no reasoning with her.

Yeah, then Ripley will be all fickle and act like she hates him again.
i think it's smart to have animals come and go like that. maybe she won't bark at yogurt so much if she realizes she needs to watch her back...
Actually, melissa, I think Ripley is more likely to use this logic: I'd better load up, so if they kick me out I'll have extra strength.
