Happy Easter!
I took this photo -- and crafted the eggs in the basket -- back when I still wrote for a local parenting magazine. Ripley was mostly interested in the hard-boiled eggs in the basket. The other eggs were wooden.Easter isn't really a big deal around here. We're not really religious and we don't have kids. And we're not pagan enough to celebrate the coming of spring. But it seemed like a good excuse to post this picture of Ripley -- like I need an excuse to post a picture of my dog.
Yeah, it's probably a little pathetic. Don't judge.

Hi Pam! Thanks for stopping by my blog. What kind of dog is Ripley? She looks a lot like our rat terrier, Ranger. BTW, we also have a CAT named Ripley but he's a he...ha!
Have you checked out my dog Mayzie's blog? mayziegal.wordpress.com I almost never write on my "regular" blog anymore since I've started writing from Mayzie's perspective. I don't know...just seems more fun, I guess. :-)

Ripley is a rat terrier! She's awesome -- and named for Sigourney Weaver's character in the Alien movies. I will have to have Ripley check out Mayzie's blog. :)
Never pathetic! But this comes from someone who posts more about her dog than you do, of course. :)
